Dr Carla Cordivari researches complex movement disorders and develops techniques for their diagnosis and treatment.

Research

Dr Cordivari is an honorary lecturer at the Institute of Neurology.

Currently, she is developing sophisticated neurophysiological techniques to diagnose, study and treat complex movement disorders, such as tremors.

She is also exploring new, potentially-promising botulinum toxin treatments for these disorders.

Education

Dr Cordivari attended the School of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Bologna (Facolta’ di Medicina e Chirurgia, Universita’ degli Studi di Bologna).

She completed her specialist training at the School of Specialisation in Neurology at the University of Bologna (Scuola di Specializzazione in Neurologia, Universita’ degli Studi di Bologna).

Her training in clinical neurophysiology was at the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London.
